they are.
I know quit a few Republicans that go to my wife's church. On the face of it, they seem like good and decent people. These are the same people however that have been constantly sending my wife hateful misinformation about Obama.
You know. The same old tired coded messages that we have become accustom to over the past year. "He is a Muslim." Wink, wind, nod, nod code bull shit that really means that he is a black man and not like us.
Then there is John McCain. Who also, on the face of it, seems like a good man. In fact, I have heard lots of comments right here from long time DU members that act like they just don't know what is going on with McCain and why his campaign has went down this road.
I guess the point of this post is this. Actions always, and I do mean always, speak loader than words. Sure McCain can get up and say a few kind words now and then, but look at the way he is running his campaign. By his actions, he is deepening and creating new wounds in the soul of this country. That is what John McCain is, make no mistake about it.
