There are certain things that get me really concerned when I hear them from someone I'm working with. Joe Killian (who blogs for the paper here and on his own time here) added a new one to my list:

Joe was working with me on a package for tomorrow's newspaper covering Gov. Sarah Palin's visit to Elon and Greensboro.

I fear what these crazies are going to do when he's elected President. They're going to go ballistic! The Secret Service needs to crack down on this crap. They should talk to McSame/Pain and tell them if they continue to rile up their crowds in this manner, people who make threats or act up in any way are going to be arrested on the spot and removed from the gathering.

They should be doing this already.

7. :) I read the thread on N&R and the spelling nazis

were out. It wasn't you -- I was commenting on the posters on the N&R blog. I suppose if they couldn't assail the content, then all they could go after was the spelling. Kinda sad, idnit.

As for me, I wasn't about to go to a McFailin rally. I commend the reporters' nerve. If I had gone, I doubt my spelling or punctuation would have been stellar, either.
