Her favorability ratings go lower and lower with everyone outside of her base every time she opens her trap. It's sort of "O.K., you won't sit down with us for interviews so how about we send you back to Alaska?"
However, all the talking heads then start doing positive spin on every damn thing out of her mouth and Mika Mouse on Morning Joe practically fantasizes over her every freaking moment.
I don't know if they're trying to play to both sides but the media's relationship with Palin is definitely one screwed up situation.
4 or 5 speechs a day, anyone is bound to say something stupid off the cuff on film. Even if Biden is on film, if he manages to say something that could be twisted the masses will never see it - all the reporters are busy at the Palin events waiting for the Caribou Queen to accidentally flash her boobs.
16. They do it because they're hoping for one of the crazies to go off, live
on their news program. The supporters have become totally outrageous, she says such incendiary things and they're hoping that it all blows up just one time while their cameras are rolling.
They let her try and sell her bullshit and lies, unedited, each and every day on the cable networks. But they'll cut into a Biden or Obama speech in a heartbeat.
Today she's trying to claim that Obama is a socialist who wants to "redistribute" the wealth but do you think they'll point out she's lying her ass off? Do you think they'll bother to call her lying ass on the whole "I love coming to the parts of the country which are Pro-American" that she polished off today? Hell no. It's the media.
