Joe the Plumber shows why McCain and Republicans are out of touch

The only people this un-vetted ringer might have helped them with is the tiny handful of people making around or above $250,000. Since 95% of the country is not in this bracket they hear they will come away with a tax break from Obama's plan and if they have a brain they would be pushed toward Obama.

What rich Republicans and also someone like Charlie Gibson (who thinks teachers make $250,000) don't get, is that not only do very few people make over $250,000 BUT MOST PEOPLE DON'T MAKE $35,000! WAKE THE FUCK UP MCCAIN!

1. McCain thinks anyone earning less than $5 million is poor.

When your wife is worth $100 million then quarter of a million is chickenfeed.

2. It is time to show some patriotism
Paying our fair share should be part of real American pride.
I for one would be a very proud American if I felt my taxes went for better education, better infrastructure, better diplomacy abroad, a health care policy that works, etc. etc.. If we end up with a congress and administration willing to tackle these and other important issues we would move our nation into a new age of American idealism. An new American ethos might presume people want to pay more taxes if reaping more benefits living in the land of the free.
