Authoritarian, bullying, fear-oriented, secretive, unable to play on a level playing field, etc., etc. No, I'll take enlightened liberalism instead...as the ongoing, never-ending reform movement that George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Thomas Paine, John Adams, Ben Franklin and so many of their collegues envisioned it to be.
