What is the Obama campaign doing to combat the robocalls?
I've always worried about the disinterested voter, the one that doesn't really pay much attention to politics, but votes anyway. They are the ones who could be swayed by the Ayers nonsense rather than health care of the economy. But, it's equally true they could be swayed by McCain's relationship with G. Gordon Liddy, the Keating 5 scandal, or McCain's adultery. Should the Obama campaign launch its own robocalls? Or perhaps it should launch robocalls to Republican households reminding people how McCain betrayed the Republicans again and again? At any rate, I do think the Obama campaign needs to confront the Ayers, ACORN, and now the socialist allegation of Joe the Plumber more forcefully because like it or not scare tactics work. I hope the Obama campaign moves quickly on this matter. They need to stay aggressive.

1. Personally I think those robocalls would piss people off
If a real person can't call and talk I would just hang up. Of course I would hang up if a real mccain person called anyway. Maybe I am just bias!!

3. you betcha!
Democrats in my county have been robocalling heavily for the past several years and I always worry that they are ticking people off by overdoing it and annoying the hell out of people. I know it bothers me to get recorded voices on the other end of the phone no matter who it is calling.
