So now they're throwing things at the media? CNN, after all their hard
work for McPalin, isn't appreciated. Someone is throwing things at their reporters.

http://www.politico.com/blogs/jonathanmartin/1008/A_tale_of_two_networks.html#comments

"So when Fox's Cameron and CNN's (Ed) Henry took to opposing risers today at a McCain rally in Woodbridge, Virginia, their receptions were starkly different.

"CNN sucks!," yelled one voter at Henry. "Communists go home," shouted another"

At one point, Henry was hit with a flying pack of chewing gum.

Toward the end of McCain's speech -- which a handful of especially passionate activists ignored to hurl insults at Henry and other reporters -- a chant went up: "We want Fox, we want Fox."

That crowd wasnt' even interested in hearing their own candidate speak. They just wanted to express their hate. Nice job, McPalin. No way you didn't know this was going on, I was watching you on TV and saw you stop and appear confused at the nastiness coming out of your crowd. Still proud of all those "real Americans" that show up to see you?

2. For supposed Christians, doesn't that remind them of . . .
"We want Barabbas! We want Barabbas!"

Nah, I didn't think so either.

3. Simple solution. No one cover their rallies except fox.
That'd be fine by me.

7. Reading some of the comments, it really is scary. Reporters here in
the states may end up having to put their lives on the line to cover the news. Look at this comment from the article on Politico:

"Unless the press quits bending over for Obama, this treatment will continue, and may get worse. These arrogant MSM types deserve everything they're getting. You Obamabots haven't had to deal with a hostile press, as if they will always be sucking up to your boy. Fools.

Posted By: EMD | October 18, 2008 at 06:27 PM "

They have now decided to make the media their target and they say they will get worse. McPalin has a lot to answer for when this is over. I'm truly afraid someone is going to be hurt.

9. It reminds me of what I have read about Rwanda before the genocide.
Talk radio and newspapers fomented violence against the Tutsi, contributing to the genocide. It's very, very scary. I don't think it could get this bad here, too many people would fight back, but Fox news and the Limbaugh/Hannity contingent remind me of just this type of mass brainwashing; their hate speech and demonization of any groups who disagree with them follow the same principle---it's just matter of degree.

and it was so fucking slanted for McCain it was sickening

Fuck CNN and Fuck hard anyone who thinks they are against McCain.

FOX and it's lies are the problem. We need some way to prevent lies being spread in the media without stepping on first amendment rights

8. Good
Let 'em get a good, hard, close-up of how ugly and vile the McPalin crowds are. Maybe then they'll finaly start spinning for them 24/7 and report the real truth about all this bullshit they've been pushing. We are not socialists. We do not want to redistribute the wealth. And we love our country and dammit, we want it back.
