It would be a good visual.

In another thread, blondgrrl said that he should wear a "McCain mask".... I think that would be very cool, if done properly.

What other ideas in these final weeks?

Here's some:

- Make an appearance at the World Series.

- Give Larry King a 1-hour interview.... with both Barack and Michelle.

- If Powell endorses.... bring him to a campaign event at or near a military base. North Carolina?

What other ideas?

1. He will probably take his girls trick or treating.
Yeah, I think Michelle will stay home giving out candy.

2. Go on SNL
That would be good for the Saturday before election day. If you recall he had an appearance scheduled the weekend Gustav made landfall.

4. I'm hoping he'ss reschedule that before the 4th
I still harbor hopes that Biden will make a surprise appearance alongside Mooseburger tonight and steal her limelight.

3. anticipate shrinking poll numbers (some were clearly to high) will be spun as McCain catching up
He needs to be ahead of the story even more than he already is, with the New Hampshire speech.

Keep pressing that you can't trust the polls, that a 6% win in the GE is a fairly large margin and that the double digit leads can't be right.

Keep pressing the GOTV efforts and working on the younger voters to show up this time.

Anyways, I am not concerned. The guy has run a magnificent campaign and I expect it to continue right up through election day.

5. Nice idea, but would the SS be up for it.
They are all great ideas, but I really like the idea of, in the event Powell endoreses, a military base visit.

Too sleepy to think of any on my own right now.

Peace

6. He could hand-out candy at someone's house in a swing state ..
... or take his girls trick-or-treating in some swing state neighborhood. (Though I'm not sure that could be made safe, without impinging on the freedom and fun of others in the neighborhood.)
