My two year old grandson voted for Obama tonight
We got our mail-in ballots today and I thought it would be a good lesson for him to help me fill in the presidential part of the ballot. He is actually very aware of the election but his real passion is for Michelle Obama whom he calls "Shell". Some day he will understand the small part he played in saving our country.

3. I hope you can photocopy and save the ballot for him.
That would be a great keepsake for when he's older.

5. My daughter wrote an essay one time about going into the voting
booth with me when she was little. I always took the kids and explained what I was doing. I never had any idea how fascinating our clunky mechanical voting machines were for kids. Those levers and the big red handle make a lot of noise! To her at the time, it really sounded like something was happening right then and there!
