2. I saw it, too. First thing it made me think of was Palin-I thought is was an SNL spoof.
Neither McCain nor Palin have had this kind of experience even though Palin has been a Gov. for what? 20 months? Did anything bad happen under her watch? I'm sorry but that is a bad ad. I think it will backfire.

...as CEO of Halliburton.

That isn't the most important quality for a ticket.
