When I say Obama, you say Ayers...

c'mon! Couldn't they used anything else besides that?

The rest was pretty good. Mooseprincess looked completely out of place.

1. I liked that part ...
It was a burlesque of the whole notion ....

Actually: I thought the 'rap' part was the funniest part of the show ...

I also thought Josh Brolin showed he has excellent acting instincts, which played nicely in the comedy bits .... He seemed comfortable being the foil ... He was good ....

3. The rap part was great - but why Ayers?
Why not messiah or inexperienced or something like that?

eh - just being overprotective of my candidate ;)

About Brolin - I cannot wait to see W.

2. I predict they will be chanting that at Palin rallies.
It fits right in with their rhetoric. There was nothing challenging in mentioning Ayers and Obama together. That's EXACTLY what Palin and McCain want. This was EXACTLY what they wanted.

5. Oh god - I hope not.
Just the same - that's why I wish they left Ayers out of it.

4. My only complaint was that they weren't more derisive in ripping into Palin ...
... during the "first press conference" skit. IIRC, Palin was allowed to say something like, "that's not how I'd do it" -- to which someone *should* have replied, "yeah, like that will ever happen before the election!"

6. "I say Obama - You say Ayers - I'm building a bridge that's going....
NOWHERE."

That bridge between Obama and Ayers ?

IS going nowhere.

I thought it was beautiful.

8. I like your interpretation - but
I still wish they would've left Ayers out of it.

7. There's a writer on their staff who is obviously obsessed with the Freeper talking points
I don't know who it is, but they're also writing all of Armisen's horrible Obama imitations.

10. I think it was more irony than saying we link him to Ayres, it came across as ridicule to me really.
