Do the trees look abnornal? On the sat. pix you can easily country the trees.

18. Wow, confirming the count for us!
Isn't that how the 150,000 estimate was arrived at in the first place - counting heads in squares from the aerial images. That must be an UNDERESTIMATE too, since thousands of people under the trees and other structures couldn't even be seen.

Yes, it is a pit. Last time my husband and I drove through there, we discussed how pathetic it was that people choose to live like that. It is a major slum.
