Who else cannot get excited??
No matter how the polls are going or the news is in our favor I just cannot get too excited because I am still nervous as hell!!

The major states we need are still too close to guarantee us a win.

I think being scared is much better than thinking we have it won!!

Only two more weeks of donating and calling.

Any anyone who can work the 3rd and 4th to get out the vote please do it. I am doing it to help me not worry so much!!

WE ARE SO CLOSE!!!

5. No, they stole TWO elections.
And that's why I'm nervous, too.

3. I'm all over the place.
I go from being excited to nervous and then to being excited again.

Right now, I'm pretty excited, though I wish the election were Tuesday.

4. I agree!
I'm even more nervous because this Friday I'm taking a road trip to Cincinnati to (FIGURE) skate in a competition. I've spent the last six and-a-half years driving to competitions on long, rural highways littered with W'04, Bush/Cheney, "Freedom Isn't Free", "It's a Child Not a Choice", and other Repuke shit splattered all over gas guzzlers--only to end up skating (at best) less than ideal performances of my programs. Now I have to look at McFailin' shit on the road this weekend! :(

6. I am terrified, but if it is worth it I will never have been so happy in my entire life.
If we win I am going to do something absurd, and I just. don't. care.

:D :D

12. I've got a handle on it all..
and then poof..I'm a raging lunatic. We're in the home stretch which I think is like being in a mine field. Even when wonderful things are going on all around us, we all know what we're up against.

I am skeptical. I am convinced. I am cautious. I am thrilled. I am afraid. I am hopeful.

14. I can't imagine getting out of bed if McCain wins.
I'm so freaking invested in this thing. I'm going to be on a complete high if Obama wins -- I mean, I will explode with joy.

But if not, I dunno.

Really, I have to figure out a way to deal!

jeezus, I've contemplated how I'll release my anger if that happens and I foresee some household items getting smashed!

17. The "major" states are always close. Look at any election.
Even blowouts. The states that "decide" the election are almost never 10+ points.

18. I'm still marching forward without looking left or right
Volunteering many hours and just working toward the goal. I wake up each night around 2 am because I am obsessed with the election and the state of everything. I had a glimmer of excitement today when our campaign leader indicated that Obama was doing well. He NEVER says that....EVER. But then he added, "we son't stop til the last vote is cast" so I can't even go to excited til then. After that, I will probably cry with relief for a week.
