As hysterical as the "Sweet Potato Pie" speech is...I must ask what I am missing here? Is this in reference to the SNL skit where Sen. McCain declares that they should have a pie bake off or something? I don't know if I am truly understanding the "pie" thing...I think I am out of the loop and/or very, very slow...

On edit : I wonder if this is an homage to the Men in Black episode of X-Files featuring Mulder eating a sweet potato pie? I'd post a picture or You Tube of that, but I can't find any!

I usually make apple pie for Thanksgiving, but this year I'm looking forward to making sweet potato pie. It'll torque my fundie-Catholic, Rush-lovin', Repuke aunt off no end! :evilgrin:
