Mark my words, beginning next week, McCain's free fall into disgrace will become more apparent and sad. He will throw every single shred of decency he has left (and he doesn't have much left...maybe about .001 remains) and go balls to the wall...and he will fail.

1. I couldn't agree more. He will be a disgraced figure for eternity.
And it will be by his own choice.

Maybe his true character came out after all. Or maybe he's 72 and addled. But he has made his choice.

How sad.

3. It'll be remembered like Lincoln vs. McClellan.
Historians for hundreds of years will breath a little sigh of relief that it turned out the way it did.

9. Devoid of honor, of decency, of anything resembling judgment,
McShit is a perfect symbol of what the Repuke party has become; a bankrupt and corrupt cesspool of tyranny, thievery and lies, lies, lies. McCain is a perfect walking tombstone for the entire rotten Reagan/Neocon era.

10. He will go down as a war hero and generally good man who made horrible mistakes

during this campaign.

This was the time for him to truly put Country ahead of self. He let his ambition and anger from 2000 get in the way.

I DON'T believe McCain is a bad man and I am still of the group that think that even he doesn't like the tactics his campaign is using but he has allowed advisers to cloud his judgment. He was a GREAT man in 2000 and we almost had a clean campaign. It's unfortunate we couldn't.

11. Yes, he will go down in history as the worst candidate ever.
The worst run campaign, the dirtiest, the most unpatriotic campaign ever.
