McCain's Hispanic strategy failing

A new Zogby poll of Hispanic voters says Barack Obama is clobbering John McCain, 70-21 percent.

That's about half of the 40 percent George Bush won in 2004, and matches the recent low-point for Republicans in 1996, when Bob Dole collected just 21 percent of Hispanics' votes on the way to a drubbing at the hands of Bill Clinton.

1. Zogby was on C-Span about a week or more ago and he said if Obama

improves his numbers among Hispanic voters just a few more points, he'll be in the position he needs to be in to win it. He was at 61-62% at the time. :bounce:

5. A lot of them like him here in southern NM where I've been going door to door. Not ALL, but quite

a few, yeah. It was the white people in an upscale neighborhood on the NW side of Artesia, NM that were the jerkiest, plus I've NEVER seen so many McCain signs as in that neighborhood.

9. After the whole immigration thing what do you expect?

Republicans said some pretty nasty things about Hispanics and incited a lot of racism towards Hispanic people. Good to see that most are for Obama though. :)
