McCain campaign does not deny CNN report that Colorado is lost .... link

If this report did not originate from the McCain campaign, there would have been a vehement denial. Instead we get a lukewarm response which makes no mention of Colorado at all but hints that they are "within striking distance" in other states.

Response from McCain aide Hazelbaker: "We see the race tightening both internally and in public polling. We are within striking distance in the key battleground states we need to win."
