McCain representative pays woman $175 to be interviewed on TV after debate
True Story:

I talked to a black friend of mine at work today who told me that another black lady she knows was at the Crown Center in KC the night of the last debate and was asked who she was voting for. She said Barack and they said if she would be willing to be interviewed after the debate and say something positive about McCain, they would give her $175.00. She told them yes, so they gave her a plain envelope with the $175 cash inside. She was interviewed on local TV and CNN and said a few words about leaning toward McCain. Isn't that crazy? Sounds like something the McCain Campaign would do.

2. Need more proof
Who was the woman?
If this were true, what would the garantee that this person wouldn't take the money, then change their story on say YouTube

And they got the money up front, she could have changed her story once she got the money
Or said she was paid. I would have said. " I just got paid to say good things about my McLame, I am glad his campaign gave me this money!"

5. I think Norah talked to a black lady after the last debate and even
my son said he couldn't believe this lady was a McCain supporter. It's probably the one we saw.

It's a great story. I hope it's true, really I do, but you gotta watch out for this anecdotal stuff.

7. I think what most people would do
would hold up the envelope to the camera during the interview and explain what happened. That would be worth much more that $175.

11. I tend to believe it, sadly, knowing McPalin. And perhaps they actually paid her after the interview
Wonder if someone can dig up that interview... I think the story is true because it's far too random to be a lie.
