I tried to find a news story with crowd estimates. BBC had this photo.

3. AP reported 2,000
"ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) — Republican John McCain and his supporters on Monday branded Democrat Barack Obama a liberal and criticized feminists and the media as they rallied their conservative base in Missouri, a hotly contested bellwether state, two weeks before the election."

"The sharper remarks and tone came as McCain appeared before a weekday crowd of 2,000in this suburb north of St. Louis, where Obama drew 100,000 on Saturday."

6. Thanks. It seems newsworthy to me that in the same
geographic area of a battleground state, Obama draws a crowd fifty times larger than McCain.

12. It is certainly a dramatically smaller crowd, but
let's remember that this was on Monday morning as opposed to Saturday at noon. So many folks were probably working. I am in no way suggesting that as an excuse to draw that much of a smaller crowd, but it certainly would be one factor, weather was similar and I am sure that site was smaller and not as well served by means to get there (the downtown site, does have better transportation links) as opposed to the McCain site.

It's worthy to compare,(and I am LMAO right with you) but there are a few differences that need to be considered.

7. I found a story on it!
"McCain drew an unenthusiastic crowd of about 2,500 to a morning rally in St. Charles, an affluent St. Louis suburb..."

9. OMG - Look at the report differences between foreign press and local!
The first article I found said 2500 unenthusiastic people (from a Philippines newspaper):
http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/breakingnews/world/view/20081021-167569/McCain-Obama-a-job-killing-socialist

And then the local one (Kansas City Star), where it says 6000 enthusiastic people:

:wtf:

14. McCain
To use a boxing metaphor, McCain is taking such a beating that his manager is waving a white towel, but the fighter just can't quit. These are the fights when a boxer suffers so much damage that he can't fight after this fight. The good thing is that maybe McCain will end up with no influence in the senate, and after his barbie doll dumps him, he just fades away into the Arizona night.
