5. Olbermans history teacher invited a certain someone to speak at his school (in 1991)
...someone who spoke about hope and the need for change. ;)

6. Saw this last night.. i got goosebumps!
Basically, KO was talking about a high school teacher of his (History perhaps??). Anyway, the teacher was well liked and passed away back in March. They had a memorial a few weeks ago for him, and someone told the following story:

This teacher liked to find various speakers with different backgrounds and interesting life stories. In 1991 he found a young African Amercian guy who was the first to be the President of Harvard's Law Review to come and speak at the high school. He really liked the young man, and he gave a fantastic speech.

Of course, it was Barack Obama.. back in 1991 who spoke at KO's high school.

Watch the clip if you can access it later.. it was really cool.

10. He was Keith's HS History teacher - he spoke of him a few times...
...on his show.

The Obama connection is just icing on the cake for Keith.

15. Saw it last night but was looking for it today, to send around, so thanks!
It's pretty amazing.
The words Obama spoke almost 18 years ago perfectly describe the situation facing this country today.
I do believe the man is prescient and intellectually gifted.

We are so fortunate that he's here, at this time.
