**MSM needs Something to Stop Obama's Momentum **
Edited on Tue Oct-21-08 07:29 AM by President Decider
Let's be honest, since the Wall St. meltdown some 2-3 weeks ago, this poliitcal contest between Obama and McCain has become the Barack Obama Show.

The MSM is totally pissed off about it because this totally threw a wrench in the MSM's plans to make it a horserace all the way up until election day.

Now they're searching ... reaching .... learching , .. for anything they can get their grubby little hands on to make this contest sound somewhat interesting and close.

Ratings whores .... that's all I can say.

Fuck them all, I hope that in the last 10 days leading up to election day, they're forced to talk about a groundswell of Obama support like they've never seen before in political history.

Will serve them right for trying to manipulate people into thinking this was ever close.

2. They are all about ratings$$$. What they fail to understand is,
if they did stories about the movement and the mobilization behind Obama, if they did stories about his campaign, honest criticisms of both candidates----People would tune in. People love to be a part of history.

But, they think ONLY negativity sells. Their loss. They come of looking stupid, petty and behind the times.

3. They'll continue in this all the way up to the election.
Somw time during the evening of November 4th, the narrative will shift into "the epic failure of John McCain." This will set off a narrative exploring how badly McCain hurt his party in down ticket races. You will have the neo-cons and theo-cons all over the talking head shows decrying the moderate and intelligencia wings of the GOP for destroying their chances.

The media loves a good train wreck, but they can't shift their narrative until everybody is actuallywatching the train wreck happenning live in their living rooms.

The beauty of all this is, it will guarantee the wrong wing of the GOP will come out on top in the ensuing GOP intra-party civil war. This sets up the Democratic Partyfor a while so long as its coalition can stand behind Obama.
