Russians reject McCain cash plea
Source: BBC News America

The Russian mission to the UN in New York says it has turned down a request from John McCain to help fund his presidential campaign.

Ambassador to the UN Vitaly Churkin and others received standard mail-outs asking them to help "stop the Democrats from seizing control of Washington".

On top of that, a government with whom we're having strained relations.

Seems to me if Michelle Bachmann wants to go on her commie witch hunt, she can start with McCain.

I sure hope the American voters are getting all of this down.

I seriously doubt that even if McCain wanted to violate the law he would do it by sending out standard mailers. This is an embarrassment, but a non-story.

15. This is a non-story? Ask yourself this - what if Obama had sent those mailers?
The republicans have taken dozens of non-stories about Obama and made them critical to their campaign like Ayers and ACORN.
