1. Great point. It pre-empts it, and possibly takes it out of production.

3. All presidents have been tested. Biden's seen quite a few come and go.
That's why he said what he did. NOTHING MORE. This is so ridiculous. (not dirested at the OP, just a general statement of the comment)

5. I agree with you - Biden often gets slammed for stating the obvious
Plus - Bush has been promising something bad for 7 years now :eyes:

4. how the media tries to make everything an issue is beyond me
I listened to that tape and he didn't say anything that is surprising. Obama is bound to be tested by some foreign crisis in his first six months. Just as McCain would.

7. Where is the actual comment available?
I recall seeing part of it the other day, but I can't find a transcript. The snippet I saw had Biden saying something like "He's got it! He's got it!", indicating that he feels Obama has the stuff to handle such a crisis.
