I'm SO TIRED of McCain using "air quotes" which look more like "air CLAWS"...
He used them at the last debate when referring to the "health" of a mother regarding abortion and, of course, now, he keeps using them when he describes Obama's tax plan as "spreading the wealth" as a form of "socialism." McCain's a desperate LOSER-NO quotes required. And I can't wait 'til the voters CALL him the loser Nov. 4th.

1. I'm tired of everyone misusing them, as if what they're putting in quotes is a euphemism
It reminds me of Chris Farley -

I'm not "the norm!" I live in "a van" down by "the river"!

Poor old Chris, he sure hit the nail on the head with that one.

3. The van down by the river guy isn't the air quotes guy.
That's Bennett Brauer, who may not "practice" "good hygiene." :D

of what a cartoon freak he has become.

( note to self, never use quotes again) LOL.

12. But if his using those quotes reminds people of his scorn about women's "health"
then it is okay by me.

That "health" moment was quite revolting, so any echoes to reinforce the character of the Real McShame is welcome.

16. McCain needs to keep his hands in his pockets. His nails are too long and they gross me out.
Along with his yellow teeth and combover, I find him extremely repulsive (physically).

19. I spit my tea out..."air claws"!
That is freakin funny. He reminds me of a Chris Farley character from SNL during the 1990's, he liked to use air quotes a lot. It is another odd quirk from McInsane. Who knew he was so weird? I never knew until this election. The weird faces, the teeth whistling, the strange seething anger right under the surface, the sticking out of his tongue at the last debate. The guy seriously gives me the creeps now.

but I'm glad I could give you a laugh. :hi: Yeah, I loved Farley on SNL! And I don't think many people realized how OLD and CRANKY McCain has gotten since 2000!

27. He has ruined "air quotes" for me. He has made them sarcastic and condescending.
I have never noticed anyone using air quotes in a negative way before. He really is kind of an a-hole.

"air claws" - that's a great way to describe what he does

30. It's so 90's. He's living in the past.
McCain's campaign: Stuck in the 1980's
McCain's humor: Stuck in the 1990's
McCain's mindset: Stuck in the 1890's
