Palin Claims The Vice President Is ‘In Charge Of The U.S. Senate’

Mind you, this was a question asked by a third grader.

Of course you'll all recall she said in an interview a month before the GOP convention that she couldn't answer the questions about joining the ticket "until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does." So either no one told her and she accepted the appointment anyway or she didn't understand/remember what she was told. Either way, is it too much to ask that our elected leaders have at least a proper familiarity with the Constitution?!!?

"President of the Senate" which is in the Constitution. But the framers didn't really specify what this meant.

In the olds days, the guy who got the 2nd most votes (even if from the opposing party) became the VP! How amazing is that? Obama as Pres. with McCain as VP. LOL
