Joe the Plumber -- coming soon to swing state TV

McCain's campaign is going up on the air tomorrow with a new commercial that will feature Joe the Plumber, the Ohio man who has now become a centerpiece of the campaign's economic and Obama messaging, according to aides.

The campaign wouldn't provide details of the spot.

After releasing new ads nearly every day for weeks, not all of which see real air time, the campaign has eased back. They've not released a new commercial since last Thursday, when they went on the air with a 60-second spot featuring the candidate straight to camera.
...................................................................................................................................................................

After everything that's been found out about him, and the fact that he really hasn't worked at all (http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com/2008/10/illegal coders_in_ohio_and_missou.php), this is what they spend their remaining money on? Well, I suppose they can't complain about the media spotlight on ol' Joe if he keeps throwing himself out into the public view.

11. Yes, his job is and always has been Republican shill
He was a plant from the moment he opened his mouth (in the sense that he was Republican and had no intention of listening to Obama's answer, he just wanted an oppontunity to call him a socialist).

He is showing his true colors by taking payment from the McCain camp...

2. I just saw Palin cite Joe the Plumber for her Socialism accusation.
In answer to the question, "So is Obama a Socialist?" her answer was basically "Well, Joe the Plumber thinks so."

How pathetic is that? Asked a question of political philosophy, she references a plumber!

7. Joe's memorizing scripts now, and being paid well for it.
Just my suspicion.

I wonder if they're paying him enough that Obama's tax increase will affect him?

10. When I worked construction
the saying was that to be a plumbers helper all you needed to know was "shit flows downhill and paydays on Friday". Evidently good ol' Joe hasn't even learned the first part yet.

13. Maybe if "Joe the Plumber" does enough Republican shilling,
he just might make over 250K an a year.

14. Can McCain Go A Single Week Without Some Freakin Gimmick?
This is absolutely pathetic. McCain's campaign looks more like he is running for Junior High School school class president, than POTUS.
