More heartwarming stories from early voting in Texas

Bullwinkle925 is visiting from California, and we are working as poll greeters at the Valley Ranch Library in Irving. We met several more delightful people today and spent lots of time discussing this election with them. We told them about DU and asked if we could post their pictures here, and they graciously acquiesced.

Here are Houston and Meredith, father and daughter. Houston has voted in every election since 1944!

Here's Kevin, a first-time voter:

And here are Dorothy and her son:

We really enjoyed visiting with these excited voters - it made us feel so connected to everyone (with a brain).

4. They said everything went fine

Well, actually Kevin had to go and said he'd come back to vote later. There have been lines to the door for two days now. This is the first time early voting has been held at Valley Ranch Library, and we're loving the huge turnout!
