Can I get an amen from the chorus? Here’s an Evangelical “ca-ching” moment. Sarah Palin spoke with Focus on the Family Founder James Dobson today on the radio. There was a lot of love in the room flowing both ways.

At one point she says the following:

“It is that intercession that is so needed and so greatly appreciated and I can feel it too Dr. Dobson. I can feel the power of prayer and that strength that is provided through our prayer warriors across this nation and I so appreciate it.”

The whole thing is phony. It has nothing to do with Christianity, prayer, or anything else they are claiming. It is all a cover, a cynical abuse of Christianity, an attempt at using religion to advance a very narrow extreme right wing political agenda.

If God does not intervene when children are raped and murdered, how is he going to intervene so a politician can win an election? I'll bet she prayed that her son would win his hockey games too. this is absolutely sinful behavior asking God to intervene in such things. It's horrible.
