Is there a reason the McCain didn't tutor Palin on the vp's job before the cnn interview?

my Step mom called me today after she heard what Palin said and we were both trying to figure out why no one had a sit down with her ahead of time.

3. As I recall, around the fourth grade this was taught and discussed

in our American Government/Civics class. Maybe it was 5th grade, but it is definitely taught in that age group. Any teachers here to verify?

5. I think the assumption was that someone who was the governor

would have the bear bones of American Government down. I mean, when she said that last night, BabyMidlo, who is 12, started shaking her head and said 'that's wrong. The Vice President isn't the boss of the senate. She's wrong'.

She's 12 and she knows more than Mooselini. She also stated that Palin should have said Plessy v Ferguson when asked about the decisions made by the Supreme Court with which she disagreed. Of course, we all know that she didn't disagree with that or Dred Scott because she's a racist to the core.

11. Yeah, I agree. It is very puzzling.

It's obvious that she doesn't even have a fourth grader's grasp of what the government does. I think anyone who votes for her is committing treason, actually. The only thing she's qualified to lead is a parade.

I tried to be as open-minded as possible - give her the benefit of the doubt, try to get the gist of what she was saying rather than parsing words.
