What's Up With This Crap From AP?
Edited on Wed Oct-22-08 03:02 PM by The Shadow
The headline says: "AP presidential poll: All even in the homestretch"
What have these people been smoking? The article goes on to say it was due to the third debate and Joe The Plumber. Hmmmm! Smells like a load of shit to me!!

Added: Sorry, I looked for dupes and didn't see any.

7. I'm just getting irritated with so many threads on one subject with no new info.
Every time there's a new "concern" about 100 different posters need to start a new thread and a couple of them will have to start a dozen or so just to ask the same question or express the same concern just worded slightly differently.

Not trying to bash you or the OP, just cranky today, I guess. :(

5. It Looks, Sir, Like A Very Poor 'Likely Voter' Screen
Its over-all result is a ten point gap in favor of Sen. Obama; its 'registered voter' pool gives a five point gap for Sen. Obama. These are pretty well within the common range. Its 'likely voter' screen seems to throw out registered Democrats disproportionately, to put it mildly.

6. They don't even ask if the respondent voted already
I would suspect a significant portion of the over 300 voters who were dumped from the Likely Voter model had already voted.

They used a traditional likely voter model which discounts anybody who has never voted before.

8. This is total bullshit and is indicative of past Republican election stealing tactics
Keep it close enough to push it over the line with a combination of Democratic voter disenfranchisement and outright theft at the polls. McCain has been dropping in the polls faster than the stock market yet the media will point to polls like this AP poll that claims the race has tightened to one percentage point if McCain wins.

Ludicrous. They've concocted this garbage to excuse an outright theft of another election. Massive voter turnout is the way to combat this and complacency is the way to allow them to steal another election.

EVERYONE HAS BETTER GET OUT AND VOTE ON ELECTION DAY OR THESE FILTHY BASTARDS ARE GOING TO STEAL ANOTHER ONE JUST AS THEY DID IN 2000 AND 2004. AND THEY'LL POINT TO BULLSHIT POLLS LIKE THIS ONE TO JUSTIFY THEIR THEFT.
