How to spin that CNN poll that has Bush up by 7
Just tell your Repuke friends that Bush went from an 11-point lead on Saturday to a 7-point lead on Monday. A 4-point loss in two days? Talk about a free-fall!

(BTW, I don't buy that Bush's lead is even 7 points, especially since the CNN poll has him up by just 1 among registered voters. But, hey, if the Repubs want to believe that, that's OK with me.)

2. Yep! How much you wanna bet...
Our Dem strategists and leaders will fail to spin it this way. I could choke them each and every time they fail to use a little common sense to advocate for our side.

5. Ditto
But with Joe Lockhart on board, maybe there's some hope.

4. Or tell them is 49-48 as per the Reg. Voter number
which is a better model this far out.

6. LOL! Hello? Dem surrogates? Force the whores to acknowlege the existence
of multiple polls and their whoring in one fell swoop:

Judy: Polls have the president leading by between seven and ten points. Is the Kerry campaign in deep trouble?

Devine: Actually, judy, the president's bump is already going away much quicker than anyone would have thought, Judy. A poll from the weekend had him up 11 with registered voters. Your poll from wednesday has him up four for registered voters. Not only is the bump going away, but you could argue that the president's numbers are in freefall.

judy: But, but but...thiose are different polls with differnt methodologies.

Devine: Exactly Judy. So why don't you mention the two polls that show the president had almost no bounce from his convention.

SLAM DUNK!!!

10. Devine
If he said this Bravo. But this brings up another point. We need DAILY DEMOCRATIC TALKING POINTS, put out by the Campaign and faxed to the media every single day.

We shouldn't be guessing and hoping that our guys/gals say the right things. Just have talking points. It's really not that hard.

7. The 11 point lead was a tongue-in-cheek trial balloon floated by the Rove
media. The original numbers began to wilt under the scrutiny of vigilant bloggers.
