"Some people" are saying Bush snorted cocaine in his FORTIES!
Can he deny this allegation personally? I mean, some people are saying he was a drug and alcohol user far beyond the time he said he found "Jesus". I still haven't heard him specifically deny it. Why no answers on this, Mr. President?

16. Yes, I know someone who is friends with someone in the
Bush "crowd" and this person told her that W was at a party about 4-5 months ago where the cops raided the place and tried to bust the hosts for cocaine. Apparently, charges were never pressed due to the fact that the chimp was there and partaking in the festivities.

It was all swept under the rug, as usual. Other than believing this person is a reliable source, I have no proof however.

5. Drugs
If this all turns out to be true, and Bush is a Cocaine User, its going to really make those who are for continued laws against Drugs that are not labeled illegal think twice.

Rush Limbaugh, was popping Oxy down like 'Mike and Ikes' and now we are going to find out that Bush was snorting Coke while both of these individuals continued successful careers.

Its going to be very interesting to see how this unravels.

Your friend has one view of the events that took place after the speech. Bush may have a different view. But your friend has the right to express his view, if that is his view, in my view.

Edited on Mon Sep-06-04 03:46 PM by Dr Fate
Especially if it is not true, like the Swiftboat stuff. They need to discuss it all week and then let the viewers decide. Just like they did w/ Swiftboats.

(Dont worry, Dr Fate aint holding his breath!!!)

13. Wasn't it supposed to be his 40th Birthday Party that got him to
supposedly stop drinking? I thought I saw 42 somewhere else this week. Anybody know his "story"?

Can you believe the media went along with taking his entire first 40 years off the table during the 2000 election? Unbelievable!

As for the born again thing makes nothing before it count, remember when Karla Faye Tucker (?) who killed someone while on drugs and got the death penalty begged Gov Chimpy for mercy after she was born again and he mocked her to Tucker Carlson and executed her.

28. That is an EXCELLENT point we should all be using

with RWers who say Bush* should be forgiven his sins. . . Where was Bush*'s mercy and forgiveness for Karla Faye Tucker? He not only denied her plea to commute her sentence to life, he mocked her for making it. And RW Tucker Carlson was the guy Bush* mocked her to so I don't think he has plausible deniability. The man smirks and laughs about sending people to the death chamber.

36. supposely it was 40 when he quit
but he cursed out Al Hunt in '88 when he was 42. He's never admitted that he's an alcoholic, I can tell you because my dad is one that you dont suddenly give up alcohol and are forever gone of it, every day is a struggle, and I am amazed that the old man hasnt taken it back up.

29. More anecdotal evidence
I once met a man who said (seemed very credible to me - no reason to lie) that he was part of a group that sold cocaine to Bush. He went to prison for his crimes. Bush? Not so much....

If anybody wants to interview the guy, it can be arranged.

35. This story should get the current standard media coverage...
which isn't, "Is it true? Here are the facts." It's "Cokeheads for Truth say Bush has a $1,000 a day habit; Bush says he doesn't." That certainly is the model they follow for any accusations the Rethugs make.
