Report: John McCain's Brother Makes 911 Call About Traffic

Angry because he was stuck in traffic, Joe McCain, brother of Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain, placed a call earlier in the week to 911 emergency, ABC News affiliate, WJLA reports.

Joe McCain's October 21 call went to the city of Alexandria, Virginia emergency operations. This is the transcript of the call:

Operator: 911 state your emergency
Caller: It's not an emergency but do you know why on one side at the damn drawbridge of 95traffic is stopped for 15 minutes and yet traffic's coming the other way?

Operator: Sir, are you calling 911 to complain about traffic? (pause)
Caller: "(Expletive) you." (caller hangs up)

The 911 operator, apparently, unnerved by use of the 911 emergency number to complain about bad traffic, called McCain back.

The voicemail that the operator was greeted with said, "Hi this is Joe McCain I can't take this message now because I'm involved in a very (inaudible) important political project... I hope on Nov. 4th we have elected John."

Outraged by the operator's action, McCain called 911 a second time. That conversation went as follows:

Joe McCain: Somebody gave me this riot act about the violation of police.
Operator: Did you just call 911 in reference to this?
Joe McCain: Yeah.
Operator: 911 is to be used for emergencies only not just because you're sitting in traffic.

WJLA reports that the McCain campaign was not ready to issue a comment concerning the candidate's brother.

Is there any other kind? I'm just shocked he was called on it. Most of the time, these people get exactly what they want and they get it with a smile.

His top operatives are submitting resumes because they're afraid EVERYONE is going to be out of work instantly when Obama wins, and they want to get the best jobs that are still available... look at how selfish all of these bastards are. His own brother thinks he's king of the road. If I was John right now, I'd punch a brick wall.

Should NSA be notified that the McCains are palling around with known commies?

I mean, all the great presidents had crazy brothers. Jimmy Carter had Billy. Bill Clinton had Rodger.

All Barack has is an attractive, intelligent, refined sister. A woman ANYONE would be proud to have in their family.

Considering this, is this man really qualified to be president? Maybe McCain IS the better choice? Joe the McCain sounds WAY more entertaining. I mean, what's Maya gonna do? Go around upholding her family's stellar reputation? Sheesh!
