An irate republican screamed obscenities at me today
In front of my 11 year old a guy pulled up next to my car and started screaming at me, calling me a fucking liberal, asshole, faggot (I'm gay and am used to the word so doesn't really bother me) and and idiot. Simply because I have a Obama/Biden sticker on my car. Much to my surprise all I did was laugh at him, I couldn't stop. So then he got all red faced and said Joe Biden was an idiot because he called jobs a three letter word, this made me laugh even harder. At that point he got even more exasperated and said don't you know about Bill Ayers? I contained the laughter in just enough time to tell him to get back to Sean Hannity before the light turned green.

Believe it or not this was in Massachusetts.

2. Sickening.
Who does this in front of kids?

I'm sorry you were wrongly persecuted for making the right choice.

3. Perfect response!
LOL, good for you! You didn't get angry, you laughed, and that made the guy realize he was probably being stupid. :toast:

6. The next post on the "Latest" page after this one:
"President Obama, please increase funding for mental health issues." How appropriate!

8. I had a guy nearly run me off the road last week for my Obama sticker-also in MASS!!
He had a massive pickup with a 'No Liberals' bumpersticker. He got on my bumper and tailgated me on 93 and I tried to get away from him. Him and his lovely wife pulled up beside me and flipped me the bird. I was laughing so hard that I nearly went off the road. I guess it must suck being a RW whacko in Mass!!

9. Perfect response. Seriously what kind of adult behaves that way
in front of a kid. No shame and no class. I guess he thought screaming obsenities in front of your child would suddenly make you see the light. Republican family values at work.

10. I actually think laughter is the best defense - it completely dismissed them as harmless.
And they hate that!

11. That Was Great
Nothing frustrates them more when you laugh at their idiocy and don't get confrontational with them.

13. Porbably a big Howie Carr fan
I had someone (in NH) behind me today at a red light, holding their nose and giving a thumbs down to my Obama-Biden stickers. I turned, smiled, waved, and went on my way.
Howie Carr, for non-New Englanders, is a RW Boston Herald columnist who also drools and sputters for a few hours daily on Boston radio.

14. Nothing pisses them off more
than laughing at them. I've had a habit of doing this in response to idiots for many years now and once I realized that it makes them implode, I've always tried to respond with laughter. Sometimes flames do come out of my brain and I take the bait, but you've got it, it kills them and isn't it fun?
