My wife says it's makeup, mascara and eyeliner on the eyes, and
lip liner on the cheek.

And as has been said many times before, it's backward because it was done in the mirror.


My thought was why the black eye and the other slightly black eye are the same size, and appear to show no swelling of any kind. A shiner like that would surely swell the eye shut, and possibly break some blood vessels in the eye itself.

2. I doubt that. My guess is it's a self inflicted wound
It would be too easy to mis-prove if it was makeup. The police would notice right away.

5. But there is no swelling. To tissue that easily swells.
Therefore there is no wound of any kind.
