Survey USA Obama up in IN 49 -45
http://www.whas11.com/justposted/stories/081023whasasPoliticsIndianaPoll.13e574f24.html

WHAS11) - If it wasn’t a battleground state before but it is now! According to recent polls, Senator Barack Obama has taken the lead in the Hoosier State.

Both sides of the political aisle are spending quite a bit of time in Indiana. Senator Obama stumped in Indianapolis Thursday, and Governor Sarah Palin will be in Fort Wayne on Saturday.

A democratic presidential candidate hasn’t won Indiana since Lyndon Johnson did it in 1964. And if John McCain loses the reliably republican Hoosier state, it would be a sign that he’s unlikely to win the presidency.

Barack Obama has spent far more time in the Hoosier state than John McCain because it was up for grabs in the democratic primary race as well.

Watch this story Now, all of that time spent in Indiana is paying off for Obama. The new WHAS11/Survey USA poll shows Obama leading McCain 49% to 45% in Indiana.

3. It's "leaning Republican" until it's +10D, at which point it's a tossup.
At +15D it becomes "leaning Democratic."

6. 'Bout damn time! I've been workin' like a dog up here!
The ground has been virtually non-stop since 3 weeks before the primaries in the first week of May!!! They've never left and they keep cracking us with the whip every week, twice a week to ID, ID, ID! Now it's GOTV, GOTV, GOTV!! I've never been part of the process before. I never knew there was so much to it. But I'm glad I'm finally seeing some good results from all this hard work!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :smoke: :smoke: :smoke: :smoke: :smoke: :smoke:

I know, I know. I need to keep it up! Thank you to our wonderful organizers from Iowa, Michigan, Illinois. I can't say enough about them and am so gracious for their help and organization!!!! Also want to thank Dean! Thank you for helping the silent liberals that have remained here for years waiting for the/our day!
