So if Sarah "drops out" of the campaign tomorrow.....?
I'm not saying that I want her to drop out -- she is the Gift that Keeps On Giving.

I was just curious......

Let's be careful what we wish for.

2. She isn't dropping out
She's running for Pres in 2012. She will get her head handed to her on a plate then too...

That is unless the good folks in Alaska see fit to rid us of her first.

3. No, tomorrow is her glorious policy speech day
She'll give a speech calling for full funding of Special Ed, knowing full well it'll never happen. It might actually give her and John a slight tick in the polls. Unless, of course, she figures out a way to muck it up...

12. McCain cut funding for special education!!!! That will take the wind out of her sails!
McCain Opposed Efforts to Increase Funding for Special Education and Education and Health Programs. McCain voted against allowing an amendment to increase funding for special education and against $7.1 billion for education and health programs. (S.Amdt. 2292 to H.R. 3010, Vote 273, 10/26/05; S.Amdt. 3048 to S.C.R. 83, Vote 58, 3/16/06)

of competency. He failed the test. It's over and there are no second chances.

11. Someone asked me this question. What happens in McCain
drops dead before the election, or Obama for that matter. Does anybody know if the election is suspended or does the VP candidate assume the role of president and then pick a VP?

16. Since we are not really electing a President, but instead electing people to serve as electors...
I assume Biden/Palin would then become the President by way of the EC and with the office of the President being vacant they would nominate someone subject to approval of both houses.

14. If she did the base would stay home and McCain would lose by 80 points

He would get clobbered and not win a single state.
