Imagine: October 30th, 2004, Bill Clinton's first speech since the bypass-
...and, after the heartfelt thankyous to his well-wishers, he gives a rousing, heartfelt, tearful speech about the need to change where we're headed, the need to restore America's place in the world, and the need to elect John Kerry.

The fat lady will have sung, President Kerry (and we KNOW Clinton would LOVE to take credit).

His speech should be about his gratitude to his doctors and modern medicine for saving his life, his joy that as a retired Federal Employee he has access tom the greatest health care program in the country, and his sorrow that not every American can afford the life saving procedures that he had....

and that every other developed nation (except perhaps S. Africa) sees to it that *everyone* has access to healthcare.
