So.... now she's saying that she "forgot to mention the sexual fondling" in her original statement and that she had "lost consciousness".


Riiigggghhht. The little detail about being fondled escaped her mind when she talked to the cops originally.

Police have taken a 22 year old Louisiana man named Duque Lacroxe into custody.

I'm confused - did she lose consciousness: 1) while the 'b' was being 'carved', w/ that dull knife (interesting observation); 2) before or after she was assaulted or 3) when she was hit on the head. Was she hit on the head before or after the 'b' was carved or before or after she was assaulted.

If she was mugged, I hope she recovers and I hope the perp is caught, and I don't buy the idea that she "asked for it" by being in the wrong part of town.

But if I was mugged, kicked, hit, threatened with a knife, lost consciousness, and groped, and had a cell phone... I can guarantee you I would have gotten in my car and immediately called 911. And that's going with the story that she didn't remember the B being cut. Er, scratched.
