4. Holy shizzle! If IA knows how to poll anywhere, it's in GA.
The firm is based here and run by a former Georgia-based (repuke) candidate / operative.

5. OMG
Senate Race, Presidential Race Both Toss-Ups In Georgia

(10/24/08) A new InsiderAdvantage / Poll Position survey shows Georgia is a toss-up state in both the U.S. Senate and presidential campaigns.

In the presidential race, Barack Obama has a slight edge over John McCain, although it is within the margin of error. In the U.S. Senate race, Saxby Chambliss has a 2-point edge over Jim Martin, although it, too, is within the margin of error.

The two polls were conducted last night, each with 615 registered, likely voters. The margin of error for both is plus or minus 3.8 percentage points.

The results:

Presidential
Obama, 48 percent
McCain, 47 percent
Other, 2 percent
Undecided, 3 percent

11. His all-inn on PA is paying off ..
Yeah, he might cut Obama's lead in PA - but does that really matter if he's losing in states like GEORGIA???

I am saying it - Worst.Campaign.Ever (at least the ones I have seen)

12. From the article
While this is a tight race, the problem for McCain is that all but 3 percent of whites have made their decision and approximately 8 percent of black voters have continued to say they are undecided or voting ‘other.’ This will likely move closer to 95 percent for Obama when all said and done. Obama has room to go up.

If this poll is accurate, even with the margin of error, Obama would still have the advantage based on who the undecideds are.

Hell, we're working at it. I still have my doubts, though. It all comes down to Houston, actually. Houston is big enough that if they did it, they could flip the state. :hi:

23. Consider this. Insider Advantage is run by hardcore Repubs -- so it may be even better than 1%
The people in charge of that firm are heavy heavy donors to the republicans, all the way back to Newt Gingrich, and most notably Saxby Chambliss. So the IA polls, and Southern Polling Report, are very skewed. So if they are saying O has a 1% advantage, that is HUGH1!! ;)

27. Well, if we get 98% of the Black vote, and the vote is 32% Black...
...we would only need 27.5% of the remaining vote. Just a thought.

28. As puritanical as this may sound...
I'd rather see McCain win GA than see Obama win votes from the same assholes who are voting for Chambliss. Obama's too good for those warmongering, fascist fucks.
