'B-Girl' caught in LIE on national TV... MSNBC: told police she was looking for a Citizen's Bank..."
but, right before the alleged crime, she blogged in Twitter that she was searching for a Bank of America ATM.... the alleged crime happened at a Citizen's Bank ATM.

So which is it B-Girl? Bank of America or Citizen's Bank?

I imagine that this is one of the inconsistencies that police have found with this story.

1. Yep, I noticed that too.
Maybe she caved and decided to suck up the ATM fee after driving around and wasting more in gas than she'd have paid at the ATM?

This story is certainly odd.

4. Let me tell you, it is not hard to find a BofA anywhere in this land,
so perhaps she thought the Citizen's location worked better for some reason. I'll say, she is not a smart criminal in the least.

8. BoA is not big in Pittsburgh area... only 3 ATMs within 20 miles of where she came from

None of them even remotely near Bloomfield.

3. What's that saying? It's not the lie, it's the cover-up? I imagine
she'll be digging herself in even deeper as the day goes on.

5. Well, to be fair, it's possible she gave up after not finding a B of A
But there's plenty of garbage in the rest of her story.

7. If she was on a computer blogging just before she went to the bank....
Why didn't she USE HER COMPUTER to find a map to a local Bank of America????

I guess because she's a female, she's too stupid? Give me a break!

11. Is this her saying that, or MSNBC reporting what Police told them she said....

That's a couple of verbal communication hops easily subject to whisper-down-the-lane.

12. Apparently, her car didn't have a McCain bumper sticker either.
Her story is unravelling. I imagine she'll cave shortly before the polygraph.

13. unless the reporter got the info wrong, but I'm skeptical too.

The same reporter also related that Todd said the mugger used Obama's name specifically. Which makes this far more serious to me, even if it's not reflected by law. If she made this up (I believe she did), making up a specifically black assailant and introducing Obama's name as being part of the crime, this (in my view) becomes more than just a falsification of a crime, but a hate crime as well. If she devised this, it is clear that she deliberately wanted to cause damage to the sense of comfort people have with Obama, hoping to instill fear in white "real" Americans that an Obama election is and will be the cause for all of "them" being in danger of attacks by black people.

This is so disgusting and so disturbing it's hard to comprehend. If fake, this was racist and it was political and I hope that this person ends up wishing she had really been mugged because I hope these things are taken very seriously.

I don't believe McCain had anything to do with it, and I don't think this person just "wanted attention". She was out to do harm. Stupid, hateful harm.

I will formally apologize if the investigation proves that she made nothing up. I don't believe that will happen.

16. I agree with you, and apparently she is an employee of College Republicans.
So I see a connection here to the College Republicans national organization. They were defending her yesterday. Apparently their site has been scrubbed of all mention of her today.

By the way, the president of the national College Republicans was photographed recently pretending to be a plumber in solidarity with Joe the Plumber.
