What Network Will you be Watching Election Coverage?
Edited on Fri Oct-24-08 10:02 AM by hnmnf
This will be the only time I think I'll miss Tweety and KO not doing coverage, because Gregory will be forced upon us. I may watch it anyway because Tweety will still probably dominate the coverage.

I may go with CNN though, because they seem better at acting like grownups.

That's the only channel I have in HD. HD just looks so much better than SD.

I'll be at home, hanging out with my two-year-old until he goes to bed. Then I'll check online for results.

Cheers!

55. Well, I'm doing it for myself and for my little one.
My wife is going to spend the evening with friends, so she can wear her emotions on her sleeve, and not have to worry about it.

In 2004, we chose to go dinner and a movie. We watched "Shaun of the Dead," which proved to be a perfect choice for that horrible night.

Cheers!

11. Probably either WDR, ARD, or NTV, which is affiliated with CNN
In case any of them elicited a "wtf?," I'll be pulling an all-nighter doing live commentary
for the Western German radio, and it's a sure thing they'll have a few TV sets on somewhere.
I just don't know which stations they'll have on, but chances are there will be a few.

14. I was thinking CNN. But on second thought if it starts to look like a clear Obama landslide
I'll probably switch over to Faux, so I can delight in their hand wringing. When it becomes clear he is going to win, I fully expect at least one anchor to throw themselves on the floor and flail like a petulant infant, and I will take great joy in that.

27. Mainly MSNBC, but with CBC and probably some Fox for kicks.
CBC should be interesting, just to see the contrast between US and Canadian coverage. Or maybe there won't be that much of a difference - I have no idea.

I wonder if there will be a big time lag between most networks calling it for Obama and Fox finally agreeing?

57. MSNBC??? WTF? Every single day people are on here complaining
about Gregory, Brokaw, Buchanan, Mitchell.......KO and Rachel will not be doing Election Night coverage, although they may come in for commentary.

Why not TURN OFF NBC and MSNBC for Election Night and they will know for sure that when Gregory and Brokaw hog the screen no one wants to watch???

It's not like KO's and Rachel's numbers won't be WAY UP the night before and the night after.

I SAY THAT DU TAKE A STAND AND NOT WATCH THESE RIGHT WING SHILLS ON ELECTION NIGHT.

And if you don't agree, then I suggest you carefully watch MTP this weekend when John McCain is given a clean 1/2 hour to throw every last smear he can at Obama, unfettered by Brokaw.
