Ashley Todd, Texas A&M University, Meet Your Honor Code....
I don't think you'll be returning to school young lady:

An Aggie does not lie, cheat, or steal or tolerate those who do.

Texas A&M University, in accordance with applicable federal and state law, prohibits discrimination, including harassment, on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, or veteran status.

OOPS, Big Black guy wasn't such a good idea eh?

24.5 Off-Campus Conduct. When a student is alleged to have violated 24.3 of this Student Conduct Code by an offense committed off of university premises, the university reserves the right to investigate and adjudicate. The University may take action in situations occurring off university premises involving: student misconduct demonstrating flagrant disregard for any person or persons; or when a student's or student organization's behavior is judged to threaten the health, safety, and/or property of any individual or group; or any other activity which adversely affects the University community and/or the pursuit of its objectives. This action may be taken for either affiliated or non-affiliated activities.

If the vice president for student affairs determines that the offense affects the university as stated above, then Student Conflict Resolution Services in the Department of Student Life, or if the student is a member of the Corps of Cadets, the Office of the Commandant, shall hold an administrative hearing to consider whether the offense is of such nature as set out above, whether or not the student committed the offense, and take appropriate action. The action of the university administrative hearing officer shall be made independent of any off-campus authority.

1. Apparently, she flunked out of TAMU and was attending Blinn College.
According to her myspace page, anyway. Blinn is where the A&M flunkouts go while they try to get their GPAs back up.

2. This should get her kicked out of school.
but hey, I'm sure she'll be given a job on Fox News if she wants one.

or hey, when Palin gets impeached as governor, Ashley Todd is fully qualified to step in and take over.

3. I do hope this does not result in her dismissal from A&M.
Really. This young woman is obviously in need of interventions - whether it's cognitive therapy, medication, I dunno. She needs help. It would be reasonable for A&M to investigate, but I think a dismissal/expulsion would only create more problems for her than she's already created for herself. Remaining in school might actually be good for her.

7. Hmm. What about all of the African American males at Texas A&M who do not
appreciate being stereotyped this way? This is not just about her, you know. At the least, she owes all African Americans a public apology.

9. The judgment of her peers is something that she'll have to deal with.
Frankly, if I was in her position, I would find the prospect of returning to school absolutely terrifying. She'll be a social outcast, and she deserves to experience the negative social consequences of this stunt.

I never said "this was just about her." There's no need for you to remind me.

5. I would think filing a false police report of a big black dude attacking you would not go down well.
Honor Code wise.

8. They'd probably advise she not come back for a semester or two.
That would just be to protect her (and other students) from any attacks. If she's at Blinn College now, she wasn't trying all that hard in the first place.
