Palin called this woman in Pittsburgh last night.
http://kdka.com/politics/McCain.Campaign.Worker.2.847449.html

In the initial article, note the following line: " Governor Sarah Palin reportedly spoke with the victim by phone. "

The moral to this story is that you reap what you sow. McCain chose to make this campaign about turning Obama into a strange and scary black man, surrounded by elements that strike fear in people's minds and tap straight into their prejudices. It explains why Drudge didn't think twice about making it a "siren-type" story, and it explains Palin's phone call despite all of the evidence making the facts seem suspicious. When the campaign heard about it, they wanted it to be true and were ready to capitalize on it. I don't feel sorry for this woman one bit, and I don't feel sorry for John McCain. Good riddance to them both.

1. They didn't give an elephants ass about that girl
you are so right ... they saw an opportunity to emphasize and trigger even more hate. They saw this as an advantageous story. Advantageous. It's disgusting enough that an ignorant woman would do something so foolish, but two people running for the highest offices in the land were willing to elevate this story as high as they possibly could knowing EXACTLY the kind of feelings it would lead to among their so called "Christian" base.

Both John McCain and Sarah Palin have stooped lower than I ever thought possible.

5. Get her some new duds while she still has the RNC credit card,
take her to Alaska Nov 5th, and maybe Levi can fix her up with one of his buds.

4. Their "rush" to embrace this moran really calls into question their judgment.
Again, the McCain/Palin campaign is shown to have a knee-jerk reaction to a situation without a calm and cool approach.

And once again they look like idiots.
