"The Man" is voting for Barrack Obama

Every day for the past several years, when I leave for work my husband tells me, "have a good day" and "don't let the man keep you down."

"The Man" he is speaking of is my former manager and boss. He is the most uptight, conservative man I have ever met. He wears a suit and tie every single day to work even though most managers don't dress formal wear I work. His nickname is the shark because he walks around our cubes looking for slacker types surfing the web or goofing off, so he can report them or reprimand them. During staff meetings and project update meetings he brow beats anyone who doesn't live up to his expectations (which are extremely high) Very few people want to work for him and most flee his department as soon as they can. He is extremely tough on people.


His politics have been extremely conservative as well during the 2004 election this man told his son he had to campaign for Bush, because democrats would destroy the country. Shortly After that he expressed to me his extreme dismay about his nephew's choice to become a union worker, knowing damn well, I belonged to a union. He has in the past expressed sentiments of racism to others in my work area.

He's the most conservative man I ever met and today I learned he was voting for Barrack Obama. When I heard the news I almost cried.

If "The Man" is going to vote for Barrack then I'm not worried. Obama will be our next president.

I was in shock when I heard this news today.

I never get tired of reading these stories.

He really does value people with good judgment and my guess is he came to the conclusion that the Iraq War was based on lies and was impressed by Obama's judgment.
