Poll question: Re: Bachmann's non-apology video.
Edited on Fri Oct-24-08 06:19 PM by ColbertWatcher
If you haven't seen it, http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/24576">here is a Yahoo! News story about it. I haven't seen a YouTube video yet.

Basically, she doesn't really apologize. In fact, as DUer FatDave points out,
"We could embrace government as the answer to our problems, or we could choose freedom and liberty. (snip) Because my heart is for you, for your children, and for the blessings of liberty to remain for our great country."

Government is the opposite of freedom. We will lose liberty if she loses. This is as bad as her original statements, and is no fucking apology.

So, should we give her opponent Elwyn Tinklenberg another boost in response to her stubborn insistence that she has done nothing wrong and didn't really apologize?

1. The word I have from people in touch with the Tinklenberg campaign
is that she is about to go ugly. Although the RCCC pulled out, I think that was more connected to the war chest she had on her own, and their own limited resources, than her chances of winning.

3. I heard they may try to pin the bridge collapse
on him. El was secretary of commerce in Minnesota under the prior governor, Jessie Ventura.
