AC360 - Conversation on Rev. Wright may have been more productive than I give credit.....
They asked these various panels how they felt about Rev. Wright being brought up by McCain in the campaign. Would it be justified.

All respondents said that it had nothing to do with the campaign.

In otherwords, the panel members were turned off by the very mention of Wright, and didn't feel he had a place in the campaign.

The White Panel (cause they were separated by race...how kewl, Not) stated that they wanted to hear about the issues, and that what the pastor said was not what Obama believed. One lady said that we haven't walked in the shoes of Black people, so yeah...some of them might be a bit angry.

So perhaps this was a warning to the McCain campaign not to try it, because it may have the opposite effect.

That's how I came away.

Wasn't what I thought it was going to be.

2. I don't know where they got these panels from but it wasn't from a McPalin rally
They were all sane. Even the McCain supporters.

4. Tres interessant.
Earlier I was predicting that the McNasty people would go for the Wright story next, and on another thread somebody else posted their outrage at Anderson Cooper for bringing up Wright. But it sounds like Cooper was trying to warn McNasty off trying the Wright crap.

7. It will be seen as what it is; a racist stunt
McCain has slaughtered his integrity on the alter of power. If he goes the route of Wright he might as well burn the corpse.
