Finally VOTED and mailed it! And same day, I finally got some of the Obama gear I ordered!

I was happy enough that dh had deposited our ballots in the mail - yeah! I say YEAH!

But also some of my long awaited orders came in, if that is comfort to anyone else with clothing orders from the donation store still outstanding. One was dh's Vote Nov. 4th t-shirt for a donation (ordered a long time ago), and second was a partially filled order giving me a tank top (ordered Oct. 6), which I am wearing happily tomorrow on my daily hike with my dog. I still am waiting on other things ordered late Aug and September.

But pretty cool that they came on the day we voted:)

We have four in all, plus a wrist band and two bumper stickers. Woohoo!

Still waiting on buttons and trying to find a t-shirt somewhere (under 20.00)


I want some more Obama gear. Just as collectors items.

At the donation store, at least a few days ago, some of the smaller gear and shirts were out of stock. I need to keep checking there and maybe see if I can find another source for some things. They had a enameled piece of jewelery with the logo, but it was out of stock too. I'd like some cool buttons, coffee mug, etc.

I can identify with your mom - I've never had a single piece of political gear, ever. In fact, until now I'd never donated a dime to anyone's campaign (and just in the last week, I've added to what I've already done with a donation in honor of Toot, and another one just because the McCain team was ticking me off).

But here I am, heading fast toward 51 years old, an independent voter, and a bit cynical by nature - and still as excited as a small child to get my "gear:)"
