It was Charlie Gibson.

When you tell your grandchildren one day about how you remember when Barack Obama became president, tell them that his rise in the polls, and eventual path to victory, began NOT when the economy went in the toilet, but four days before, when Palin did her "in what respect Charlieeeee?" interview.

Go back and look at the stats, he started to eat away at McCain's post-convention lead on Friday or Saturday, NOT on Tuesday as history will tell it. (The first part of the Palin interview was on Thursday.)

The economy was the MAJOR thing of course, but it was Palin that got the ball rolling.
