The Republicans are forgetting 2008 and looking at 2010 for The Blame Game

I work with someone who attends RNC batcave meetings over the months and he has basically told me that they will retire McCain like they did Dole in 1996, will make sure that Palin is a nobody and limps through her term as Alaskan governor (and perhaps gets censured or impeached) and will not be viable in 2012.

They are looking at the same template used in 1994 where they pinned all the blame for the Reagan/Bush-Bush/Quayle years on the Democrats and use it in 2010. Hoping that they can breed disillusionment in voters still waiting for miraculous undoing of the Bush years in a matter of a couple years, they want to regrab seats from the 2008 bloodbath. The will also try to then revisit "scandals" that they have implied in this election cycle like they did with Clinton after 1994.

What needs to be done by Obama when he is elected is to set up legislation programs and a mission that flies right into the face of the Republicans' 2010 strategic ploys. After this victory, the next real bloody battle will be 2010 and there should be major preemptive political strategies to finally stomp of the Republican party's lifeblood and perhaps have them splinter off into two weakened factions of the neocon agenda and the American Taliban. Republican moderates will need to be told that they need to jettison from their party that has betrayed them.

Battling the Republican 2010 Blame Game needs to start on November 5th.
